Shooter is a very energetic, fun-loving kind of guy. His enthusiasm in the ring is sometimes hard to manage, but in the field he gives 110% !!

Shooter' very first time competing in the ring was at 4 months of age at a Sanction Match. He won Best in Match/Best Puppy in Match. Shooter's very first weekend at a licensed Conformation Event, at 6 months of age, earned him 2 Best of Breed wins, winner of an All-Breed Puppy Sweepstakes (entry of 80 puppies), and a BEST PUPPY IN SHOW !! At 14 months of age at a Sporting Group Specialty, he went on to win the Sweeps there as well, with an entry of 75 Sporting Dogs.

Shooter earned his FDJ (Field Dog Jr) title before finishing his Championship the next year. The 2002 Top Pointer Stats placed him - #2 Shorthair in Canada at the Jr level and tied for #6 Pointing Breeds in Canada at the Jr level.

Shooter has produced some outstanding litters with numerous Canadian/American Champions, Field-titled/NAHVDA-titled dogs, Obedience-titled dogs..

Shooter is retired from our Breeding Program.  Keep an eye out for his kids/grandkids in competitions near you!
