Hershy came to live with us at 6 weeks of age, from Norma Goodfellow (Goodfellow Kennel). We owned her sire, and picked her as our own, in lieu of a stud fee. Hershy has been a ball of fire from puppy hood, right through her entire life. She has springs for legs, and can jump sideways over another dog, at a standstill. Hershy is a great dog to hunt with. It must be those flaring nostrils she possesses. She never has a problem finding those downed or wounded birds.
Hershy has had 2 litters and will be bred one more time, in early 2004. After raising this litter in our home, she will live permanently with her "other" family. Jay Loftus, along with his father, mom and brother have given Hershy a great home. She is now a running companion for her own dad, "Crackers", who the Loftus's became owners of a few years ago. Hershy and Crackers have a wonderful family to live out their lives with, as they move on to senior status in dog years.
Hershy has produced 6 Canadian Champions to date, including 5 Puppy Group Winners - 3 going on to win BEST PUPPY IN SHOW. Hershy is also the dam of Am/Can CH Whisperfield Glyndle TX Ranger - a Canadian Group Winner and an American GSP SPECIALTY Winner.
