Silken started off her show career in style, taking a Group 1st at her first Sanction Match at 5 months of age, and finishing her Canadian Championship at 9 months of age. Along the way she picked up a Best of Breed win and won Best Puppy in Breed every time she took points. The day she finished she also won BEST PUPPY IN GROUP !!

In May/08 in the Futurity Competition at the GSP Club of America National Specialty in Wisconsin, at the tender age of 10 months, Silken won Best of Opposite Sex, defeating an entry of 55 bitches.

Silken attained her UKC Championship in one weekend, taking 4-Group 1st, 1-Group 2nd and a Reserve Best in Show (Nov/08).

Silken finished her American Championship on June 6, 2009, finishing with 3 majors, including several Specialty wins and Specialty Sweeps wins. Always Owner Handled along the way....
