While with us for 9 weekends in 2008, Hunter attained #2 Shorthair in Canada Status on the Dog Show Circuit . 

Since returning to Canada in June/09, he is the BEST OF BREED Winner of the GSP Club of Canada National Specialty (shown by his owner), has attained his Field Dog Jr title (in 3 straight tests), the winner of 2 GSP Specialties in New York State on one weekend, including a Group Placement, and also acquired his UKC Championship in 1 weekend !! Hunter has been shown occasionally while with us since June, and spent much of his time just hanging out with his daughter "Rose", playing with the other girls here, and pointing the resident pigeons.

Hunter is a pleasure to live with - calm in the house, BUT a bird crazy dog in the field.

Hunter on full point with two hen pheasants, we managed to get our limit in about 3 hours and had a lot of fun doing so.

Hunter is now back home in Virginia with owners Bob and Beth.
